"My GED means having a future for me and my son. I can now move forward and give my son the life he deserves. I can start college now and follow my dreams!"   -Amie, GED Program Graduate

GED Program

The Hope House GED Program serves teen mothers (16-21) living in the Denver metro area who do not have a high school diploma. The GED Program uses the Steck-Vaughn GED Preparation & Pretest Curriculum. Volunteers are available to assist the GED Instructor and to provide needed tutoring or individual assistance. Hope House will cover the costs of GED testing at a local Community College. Assistance will be provided to the teen mom in accessing CCCAP funding to pay for childcare while she works toward her GED. Some career assessment and counseling is provided after the teen mom completes her GED.
