$140,000 is a Big Deal!
As a beneficiary of this year’s annual Biz Bash, Hope House is thrilled to be the recipient of a $140,000 award from CoBiz Financial.
Hope House plans to use the funds to purchase two vans, making transportation to its free self-sufficiency programs much easier for teen moms from the entire Denver-metro area.
"This award will help us buy two vans and effectively address difficult transportation issues, which are one of the biggest barriers to self-sufficiency for teen moms,” said Lisa Steven, Executive Director of Hope House.
Lyne Andrich, CoBiz Financial CFO, and Kelly Condon, Colorado Business Bank Regional President, presented the check to Hope House.
“We are delighted to support Hope House. What hooked me from the start was the positive impact the organization has not only on children but teen moms as well -- two generations of at-risk kids,” said Lyne Andrich, CoBiz Financial CFO.
Biz Bash is an annual concert that has become one of Denver’s most popular and successful charitable events. Hope House of Colorado and Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center were chosen as this year’s beneficiaries.
