Organizational Volunteer
Organizational volunteers are those individuals who serve in a leadership, planning or fundraising role. If you are interested in making a broad impact in the lives of teen mothers, please consider serving the organization as a whole.

Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is the governing body, which sets the course for the organization through strategic planning. The Board approves policies and budgets, and engages in some fundraising and sharing of their personal networks. The Board is financially and legally responsible for the organization. The Board meets monthly, in the evening, for approximately two hours. There is a formal nomination and interview process for Board members.

For more information please send us a message at the end of this page.

Committees of the Board
Committees of the Board are standing committees that do the “work” of the Board.

The Finance Committee is responsible for the budget and audit, as well as financial processes and policies.

The Nominating Committee oversees all applications and interviews for the Board, and is responsible for recruitment to the Board.

The Program Committee is led by the Program Director of Hope House and members are called upon to participate in short term task forces which meet to resolve a certain issue, or develop a new program.

The Strategic Planning Committee is responsible for long range planning for the organization as a whole.

The Resource Committee is responsible for working with the Development Director to raise funds in order to meet the needs of the teen mothers served by Hope House of Colorado. See “Fundraising Volunteers”

Fundraising Volunteers
Event Committees coordinate the annual Golf Tournament, the annual Gala and the Annual Spring Event, as well as various smaller events. Fundraising volunteers might also participate in fundraising through their church, social networking, on-line giving campaigns, etc.
For more information please send us a message at the end of this page.

Social networking and e-fundraising are a growing need at Hope House. Volunteers will track and update specific websites and blogs, creating awareness about Hope House and also, facilitate and participate in on-line giving campaigns. If you enjoy being on the web and know how to use various forms of social media, such as: facebook, youtube, chipin, and twitter…then we need you!
For more information please send us a message at the end of this page.

Filming projects are becoming more of a need in our fundraising at Hope House. We are in need of a videographer who would be willing to donate your time and skills to create short films for the web and other various projects.
For more information please send us a message at the end of this page.
