How God is Building a New Resource Center:
Welcome to God Stories. As you may already know, God brought many people and circumstances together that allowed Hope House to acquire a residential home and open its doors over a decade ago.
Now that Hope House serves over 180 teen moms and 270 kids every year, God is at work again. As He leads us in building a new Resource Center and an Early Learning Center that will allow Hope House to triple the number of teen moms served every year, it is our pleasure to share how He is once again moving in miraculous ways. Welcome to God Stories.
Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.
A Miracle Called HomeAid. God Stories 1.4
Exciting news! HomeAid, which is the philanthropic arm of the Home Builder’s Association, has approved our new Early Learning Center as their project for 2017!
What does this mean? This is a $300,000 to $400,000 commitment from HomeAid toward the building of the Early Learning Center. They will find a builder captain (such as Lennar or Richmond Homes) that will be the contractor for the Early Learning Center -- HomeAid will also raise up to half of the cost of the building through the donations of materials and labor!
The timing is perfect as we were already strongly leaning toward building just the Resource Center building in 2016 and not breaking ground on the Early Learning Center building until 2017 – partly for fundraising reasons and partly to give us more time to practice running Early Learning with three classrooms in the Resource Center before opening five or six classrooms in a new building.
This is a huge praise - please help us give God the glory!
